Project Overview
Boston Public Library’s venerable Boylston Street building, Central Library in Copley Square included all-new interior and exterior signage for some old and new spaces. Among the new spaces requiring fresh and patron-friendly signage: an outdoor garden area and specially-designated areas for readers of different ages inside the library. Metro Sign & Awning was proud to design, fabricate and install the weather-resistant interpretive signage for the garden, and to create interior panels to showcase specific spaces inside the library, including children’s and teen areas, memorial signage and donor plaques, as well as room identification throughout the completely remodeled facility.
